OKX

Profile overview
Profile snapshotAbout OKX
Official websiteOKX provides cryptocurrency exchange and Web3 services. Its predecessor, OKEx, launched in 2017 and adopted the OKX name in 2022. The brand has expanded from centralized trading into self-custody wallets, on-chain trading and developer tools.
History and positioning
OKX began with centralized cryptocurrency trading. The 2022 change from OKEx to OKX reflected a broader Web3 product direction. The exchange and OKX Wallet now form distinct product systems: exchange trading uses a platform account, while the wallet lets users manage their own on-chain assets.
Trading products and tools
Products include spot and margin trading, expiry futures, perpetual contracts and options, alongside conversion, trading bots and institutional trading and API tools. Spot markets exchange crypto assets; derivatives create price exposure through contracts with different margin and settlement mechanics. Availability depends on the region and account eligibility.
Wallet and Web3 ecosystem
OKX Wallet offers self-custody asset management, on-chain swaps, DApp connections and on-chain analytics. The ecosystem also includes X Layer and developer tools. Users manage wallet recovery and transaction approvals themselves. Network execution and decentralized liquidity differ from the exchange spot order book.
Availability and fees
Web and mobile access, service entities, account requirements and products vary by jurisdiction. Trading fees depend on product and user tier; order-book fees generally distinguish makers from takers. Trading, withdrawal and blockchain network fees are separate charges covered by the applicable official schedules and terms.

OKX listing information
How do I apply for an OKX listing?
Use the form linked from the official OKX guide. CryptoPartner cannot approve a listing.
What information should an application include?
A factual overview, ecosystem data, differentiation, tokenomics, team and funding information.
Is approval guaranteed? Can I request a named contact?
No approval is guaranteed. The guide discourages requests for a specific contact; follow the official process.
Where do these recent spot records come from?
The page reads OKX public API opening times and market observations stored in the CryptoPartner database. It covers eligible records from the last 30 days, not the complete exchange history.
Is the date a trading start or a discovery time?
API opening times are shown where available. Monitoring-only records are labelled First detected. Both use UTC; a discovery time is never inferred to be a historical listing date.
Does a new BTC/PLN pair mean a newly listed coin?
No. An existing asset can receive an additional quote currency or market. Grouping its pairs does not imply that the asset has just joined the exchange for the first time.
How often does the data update? Why are records missing?
Collection runs daily and the page uses a cache, not a live feed. Records outside 30 days, future trading starts or entries without valid time evidence are excluded. Collection and source delays can affect visibility.
How do I see more records or open a trading page?
Each page contains 10 groups. Use Previous and Next to browse; pair links open the corresponding OKX spot market. Availability still depends on your region and account eligibility.
Sources and methodology
Spot records use public API times and daily observations. Discovery is not a historical listing date. Market metrics are separate CoinGecko snapshots, not a safety guarantee.
